Drawing naked mole-rat skulls & this was on the opposite page in my sketchbook & I thought, “Hey, I should put this on Tumblr.”
I keep looking at that spur/phlange/thing on his hocks & thinking it’s a calcaneal, which of course it can’t be because he has no (external) tendons, but it’s very ungulate-y & I wonder what it’s for & whoo I just really love his design. Yum.
